We are building a rapidly growing global team that will leverage intuitive software, robust analysis and data visualisation techniques that reveal hidden insights from reliable but complex data sources to deliver sound strategies for our clients worldwide.

Role Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Global Sales Director to lead and direct the global sales team, to deliver revenue growth and meet business strategy. 

Using your knowledge of the market, contacts within the industry and your commercial and negotiating skills you will identify new sales territories and customer opportunities to deliver annual sales targets and support and develop the business through a phase of accelerated growth.

To succeed in this role you will need to have a solid understanding of SAAS sales management and be comfortable putting in place processes and systems that accelerate revenue growth.  

Main Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Develop, implement and manage the global sales plan and strategy
  • Contribute to the overall growth of the company
  • Ensure that sales performance across the organisation is achieved
  • Oversee and manage the global sales team 
  • Identifying valuable emerging markets
  • Conduct sales performance, competitor activity and other analysis to propose new strategies/action plans
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting and form sales plans to adapt to constant shifts in the marketplace
  • Integrate marketing and product initiatives to produce optimal commercial success
  • Serve as a business representative at major industry events, conferences, trade shows, and expositions
  • Foreseeing and avoiding stagnation in the marketplace
  • Take responsibility for own P&L
  • Use data and reports to make evidence-based decisions
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Work collaboratively across all teams - including Engineering, Product and Marketing and foster partnerships and relationships with key customers both externally and internally
  • Take responsibility of  your own performance goals and personal growth
  • Stay up to date with the latest technology
  • Stay up to date with the latest best practices

Person Specification:

Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills 

  • MBA/MA/MSc  Business Administration or equivalent
  • 10+ years of experience
  • 5+ years global SaaS sales experience 
  • AdTech or MarTech industry experience
  • Experience in restructuring teams and organisations
  • Global experience (NA, EMEA, APAC, LATAM)
  • Experience in shifting business models from enterprise sales to subscription based model
  • Experience working with sales automation tools, e.g. SalesForce
  • Knowledge of big data analysis
  • Fluency in at least one other European language would be advantageous
